How to offer a Worship Service
The Tree of Life Interfaith Temple offers weekly worship services on Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00am ET.
If you are interested in offering a service, you are invited to follow the following four-step process below.
The Sunday Services Program Committee is guided by the Tree of Life Interfaith Temple vision and mission statements and reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of any program.
Worship Proposal Process
We welcome your voice, your insight, and your sacred expression. Leading a Sunday service at Tree of Life Interfaith Temple is a beautiful way to share wisdom, creativity, and spiritual presence with our community.
The process below is designed to support you in bringing your offering forward with clarity and ease. From choosing a date to preparing the details of your service, each step helps us thoughtfully coordinate, promote, and hold space for your unique contribution.
Step 1: Check your calendar and ours
Review the Sunday Services request email sent by our Presiding Minister, or consider your calendar for 4-8 weeks from now. Choose 2 or 3 dates that are open and continue to step 2.
Step 2: Request to offer a service
Please email your preferred dates to sundayservices@tolit.org , and include your name, email address, and phone number.
Kindly keep in mind that one or more of your chosen dates may overlap with another request. Our team will respond to you at the email provided to confirm which of your dates has been scheduled.
Step 3: Describe your service
Please complete the Worship Service Proposal form located at the bottom of this page. We ask that you submit your form 3–4 weeks prior to your scheduled service date. This allows our team the time needed to thoughtfully review, coordinate, prepare, and lovingly promote your offering to the community.
We honor that inspiration can arise at any moment, and submitting your form in advance helps us share your message widely and with care.
The proposal form can be completed directly on this page. You will also be asked to provide a photo, which should be sent separately to sundayservices@tolit.org
Step 4: Order of service, media, copyright info
As noted at the conclusion of the Worship Service Proposal form, we ask that you send three additional items no later than the Thursday prior to your scheduled service. Please email all materials to sundayservices@tolit.org. It is most helpful if all three items are included in one email.
1. Order of Service
Please prepare an Order of Service (or Program) outlining the flow of your gathering. Kindly include this as text within the body of your email rather than as a PDF or attachment.
2. Media for Screen Sharing
If your service includes videos, music, or other media that will need to be screen shared, please send those files or links by the Thursday before your service so our team can prepare accordingly.
3. Copyright Information
Please review the document “Copyright Info for Worship” linked below. While you are welcome to include copyrighted materials in your service, there are guidelines regarding what may be shared when services are posted publicly (such as on YouTube).
For any non-original material you plan to use, please provide:
