Timeline

New cohorts of the seminary program begin in the early fall of the year, typically September. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact the Seminary Director by late spring or early summer in order to have plenty of time for the application process. Please use the form at the bottom of this page.

• Monthly Assignments

  • Assignments within the program are designed to be completed each month, offering a gentle rhythm and encouragement to stay engaged with the material and make steady progress along your path.

  • Following this schedule, the full curriculum will be completed in two years, including a summer break.

• Seminary Guide Meetings

  • One monthly meeting with your seminary guide is required.

  • Additional meetings may be offered or required, including gatherings with other seminarians or with other seminarians and their guides.

• In-Person Retreats

  • In-person retreats may be offered once a year.

  • Retreats will take place in or near Amherst, NH.

• Ordination & Graduation

  • An Ordination/Graduation Ceremony takes place in June.

  • The ceremony will take place in or near Amherst, NH.

 

FEES

Tuition & Additional Expenses

The seminary tuition is designed to support you throughout your two-year journey, providing guidance, personal support, meaningful connection with the Tree of Life Interfaith community, and thoughtful feedback as you move through the program. The tuition also includes the opportunity for ordination through the Tree of Life Interfaith Temple.

Tree of Life Interfaith Seminary

Two-Year Program Tuition: $7,000

Payment plans are available to help make the program accessible and manageable. Payment arrangements can be discussed with the Seminary.

Tuition Includes:

• Regular contact with your personally chosen Spiritual Guide, in whatever way works best for the two of you.

• Individualized feedback on all homework assignments.

• Opportunities for sharing, connection, and collaboration with the Tree of Life Interfaith community.

• Ordination by the Tree of Life Interfaith Temple.

 

Additional Expenses

The following expenses are not included in tuition and are the responsibility of the seminarian:

• Required reading books.

• Annual retreats: Cost TBD.

• Ordination/Graduation Fee: Cost TBD.

• Travel costs, if applicable, for retreats and the Ordination/Graduation ceremony.
