A Gift from the Light
Our Ministry/Our Lives
What if
What if there was a place where we could practice
respecting religious differences while honoring sameness?
Perhaps then we could...
recognize the face of our brother and sister
beyond color, dress, or language.
What if there was a place where we could practice
celebrating each person's unique expression of the Divine
while honoring our common heartbeat?
Perhaps then we could understand that each of us has a role to play - a gift to offer.
What if there was a place where we could practice
engaging the difficult issues while together forging new Pathways to peace?
Perhaps then we could...
begin to build a world family and learn to love our neighbor as our self.

Our Mission

Our Values

Picture
Innovation: re-imagine and reinvent how we can connect and communicate with each other and how we get in touch with the Divine within and without on our life's journey

Acceptance: being open and welcoming to explorers of all faiths, beliefs, and traditions.

Understanding: meeting each of our members and friends right where they are on their path to spirit.
The Tree of Life Interfaith Temple is an engaging, supportive spiritual community offering a welcoming home to seekers from all faith traditions.
With love and respect, we embrace the wisdom and experiences of all traditions to create inspiring, educational, and innovative programs to illuminate and more deeply connect to the divine spark that lives within all of us. By redefining the nature of a passionate interfaith and interspiritual ministry and reimagining the meaning and impact of church, we explore and expand how we understand, experience, and connect to the Divine in these challenging times.
The Tree of Life Interfaith Temple is not anchored in any particular faith tradition but celebrates in equal measure the wisdom of all. In so doing, we offer moving services, enlightening classes, meaningful retreats, and engaging community outreach activities such as supporting the Souhegan Valley Interfaith Council to foster greater interspiritual connection, understanding, and harmony among all spiritual beings within our greater community.
Love, Compassion, Trust: Coming deeply from the heart in every contact and every engagement.

Action, Will, Discipline: Accomplishing what needs to be brought about, getting something done.

Balance: We recognize the necessity and value of both energies needed for the Dance of Will and Surrender with God: the Devotional, Faith-based, Trust, Surrender to God energy in addition to the Take Action, Discipline, Use One's Will energy, and we consciously cultivate balance and free choice to engage either energy as the situation may require.

Service: making a difference in all we do.

Inspiration: being attuned to the stirrings of the Divine and nurturing openness to pursue with joy wherever they may lead us.

EXPLORE YOUR DIVINITY

What We Believe

We believe that God is expressed as the body of all creation, the heart of each faith tradition and the infinite Soul of each person.
We believe that it is through the practice of meditative prayer that we awaken to our Divinity and come to know God.
We believe that each person, being a spark of the Divine flame, has a unique part to play in the Divine Plan.
We believe that we are here to serve those in need with joy and thanksgiving.
We believe that the role of suffering in human experience is to awaken our humanity, bring us to a deeper threshold of compassion for our self and others and to bring us closer to our Divine creator.
