2022 Pledge & Membership Drive

Again this year, as always, we have so much to be thankful for ~
and your support is at the top of the list!

Last year, COVID challenged us as we worked to prepare the condo as a new home base. Delays in finding contractors, waiting for our permit, in getting supplies and building materials slowed the time line for completion. However, we did get many things done, and your support helped accomplish what we were able to do: repair & upgrade the furnace, repair the plumbing, renovate the bathrooms, start the electrical, find a location for a kitchen area in the basement, upgrade the furnace room, remove the popcorn ceiling, and more!

We have also stayed connected with many of our Tree of Life community throughout the country, continuing to use Zoom for classes and services, and MailChimp to get the word out. There are still challenges uploading and editing our service videos, but we're continuing to work through these challenges and expanding the available videos on our YouTube Channel.

Seminary Retreat and Ordination was a big challenge with COVID causing concern for all participants. Ultimately, each chose the best option for themselves, and the Temple figured out how to ordain the combined classes of 2020 & 2021 in person and on Zoom - all together - Wow! And, Congratulations to all our new ministers!

We continue to stay focused on staying connected - to each other and to the greater communities of which we are a part. With that in mind, the Temple again offered a scholarship to a Milford High School student in 2021, and we are preparing to offer another this year. We also supported SHARE over the holidays with over $800 in donations through November and December combined, and continued that support into January with a successful Diaper Drive.

Your collective continued support made all of these efforts possible! As we continue this year with repairs and upgrades to our new home, your contributions will make it all possible. Please fill out the enclosed form, let us know how you're able to assist, and return it ASAP so we're able to best plan for the remaining repairs and upgrades to this special space.

What you need to know:

The Pledge Part:
Your donation or pledge is greatly appreciated to continue our Mission, Vision & Purpose:
To establish and maintain our place of worship
To engage the community through charity and outreach and
To train and Ordain Interfaith Ministers

AND,
Just like last year, to be able to complete upgrades and renovations before we move in!
Your donations and support now will give us the framework to decide what we finish up... and what will need to wait until later.
For more info on donating to Tree of Life click here.

Thank YOU!

The Membership Part:

Official membership in the Tree of Life Interfaith Temple is not a requirement for community participation.
Membership, however, grants voting rights for issues affecting the community that may need
more than a Council decision - such as budgets, elections, and any other major decisions.
Membership may also grant additional benefits in the future.

Just so you know: It is not necessary to become a Member to support the Temple.
And, likewise, any support given doesn't automatically grant Membership.

or click here to become a Member today.

You get to choose -
We would LOVE to have you as both a Member & a Supporter!

The Capital Campaign:
We are again estimating our yearly expenses to be about $25,000.00.
This is to cover expenses with a little extra to finish up

the renovations that are in progress.
We would love to have a little extra for the renovations
and especially upgrades as we discuss how to transform the cement floor in the lower level

into something more friendly and inviting.

"People who love each other fully and truly are the happiest people in the world.
They may have little, they may have nothing, but they are happy people.
Everything depends on how we love one another." ~Mother Teresa

In gratitude, we Thank each and every one of you with our whole collective hearts!
