Psalm 23
REV. DR. STEPHANIE RUTT This 12-week course will explore the beloved Psalm 23 from the Hebrew Bible. Each week participants will learn a line or two from the Psalm in Hebrew and answer questions for reflection from Harold S. Kushner's book: The Lord is My Shepherd: Healing Wisdom of the Twenty-Third Psalm. In addition, participants will receive Rev. Rutt's book of prayers for each letter in the Hebrew script adding expanded meaning to the words in translation. The study will leave you not where you began. |

In 2012 I began reciting Psalm 23 in my daily practice. In 2014 when I applied for and was accepted into the doctoral program at Andover Newton Theological School, I truly felt that it had been the practice of the Psalm that had energetically and spiritually prepared me for this wonderful, completely unforeseen, opportunity.
